As an ally to the UAE Chapter of UN Women’s Unstereotype Alliance, we are pleased to invite you to the Chapter’s 1 Year anniversary celebration. The alliance is convened by UN Women and is a thought and action platform that seeks to eradicate harmful stereotypes in all media and advertising content globally, and to advance gender equality in the workplace. The UAE National Chapter represents the first outpost of this global UN Women initiative in the Middle East region, and the sixth National Chapter of the Unstereotype Alliance, following Brazil, Japan, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom. The strategic focus of the UAE Chapter is on broadening the representation of women in non-traditional roles.
